What will you be doing:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Present menus to guests, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper plating and presentation.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and promptly respond to requests for additional items or condiments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, attending to their inquiries, and resolving any concerns or complaints.
- Monitor tables to ensure that guests have everything they need, including refilling drinks and clearing plates.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning dining areas, including arranging tables, setting up utensils, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience as an F&B attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail in order taking, food and beverage service, and table setup.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
- Knowledge of different types of cuisine and basic food and beverage pairing.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to operate a POS system.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in a dining environment.
